Himaneesh Sompalle wins Bronze at IOAI 2025 held in Beijing
Himaneesh Sompalle, a Grade 10 student at Stonehill International School, has won the Bronze Medal at the International Olympiad in Artificial Intelligence (IOAI) 2025, held in Beijing, China

Bengaluru, September 1, 2025: Himaneesh Sompalle, a Grade 10 student at Stonehill International School, Bangalore, has won the Bronze Medal at the International Olympiad in Artificial Intelligence (IOAI) 2025, held in Beijing, China, becoming the youngest Olympian and the youngest medallist from India in the history of the International Olympiad in Artificial Intelligence (IOAI) 2025, at just 14 years of age.
The big win is a recognition of technological innovation among students worldwide, and was presented to Himaneesh for his exceptional talent in Artificial Intelligence. Competing against participants from over 60+ countries, Himaneesh stood out for his creative abilities and critical thinking.
