Ferozepur, March 11, 2015: A hidden treasure was found while digging of sewage at Talwandi Bhai, just few kilometers away from Ferozepur.
As per the information available, construction work of the sewage was under process at Haraja Road near Railway Station at Talwandi Bhai. During the digging one pot full of silver coins was found. The news was spread like a wild fire in the region and people rushed there to collect the coins. As soon as the matter was reported to the police, the police officials rushed to the spot to prevent the panic.
Davinder Singh, SHO, Ghall Khurd Police station said that the police will investigate the matter thoroughly.
As per the information available, the pot was containing more than three Kg silver coins of 1905.
