Heema of KMV stands 2nd in University

Jalandhar, July 15, 2016: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya- the Heritage Institution where every year academic excellence in pursued unabated, result time is time of flowering of consistent academic efforts throughout the semester.
Ms.Heema from Dept. of Music (V) scored 309/400 marks in M.A.(V) II semester to get second position in Guru Nanak Dev University merit list while Ms.Meera scored 292/400 marks in the same class and sixth position in University merit list.
Ms.Heema has been regularly participating and winning first prizes in many inter-college competitions at the state and national level as well. She has been participating in the University Youth Festival and winning the first prize regularly. In the recently conducted international music festival by Sai Sri Ravi Shankar Ji of ‘Art of Living’ she sang as a part of the chorus and her name was registered in the ‘Guinness Book of World Record’. Ms. Meera has also won many singing contest. These students have always been making their institution and parents proud with exemplary achievements. Principal Prof. Dr. Mrs. Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated the students their parents and the Head Dept. of Music Dr. Mrs. Kamaljit Kaur. She wished them a bright future ahead and many more milestones of success in the coming times.
