Heavy loss seen caused due to stormy weather in Ferozepur.
Ferozepur, September 15, 2014: Heavy rains and storms proved destructive for a boiler point situated at GT Road, Malwal causing heavy loss.
Parveen Kumar Garg and Nikhil Garg, owner of the Rice Mill said that the impact of the storm was so disastrous that everything just vanished in the blink of an eye. Heavy girder which were supporting the machinery, twisted like straws in front of their eyes and extremely heavy machinery went down like dried leaves. The labour, which was working in the plant, somehow saved their lives. It was eventually a miracle that nobody got injured due to the impact.
Parveen Kumar and Nikhil Garg said that their machinery worth lakhs has been destroyed due to the storm.
