Jalandhar, October 16, 2021: GNA University organized a  Workshop on ‘Android Application Development’.  Er. Vineet Kumar was the Keynote Speaker, having 8 years of experience as a Senior Android Developer. Currently working at Webtunix Solutions Pvt.Ltd, Er. Kumar holds expertise  in Core Java, Advance Java, Android Application Development, Kotline and Flutte. 
Vineet started the Workshop with the current trends of Android development and its advantages and disadvantages. He explained them the benefits and changes it will bring to day-to-day activities and how it can benefit them irrespective of their branch. He discussed the importance, usefulness and impact of apps in today’s digital world. He briefed the students about the types of validation, basic hardware and software requirements for android development.
Vineet provided insights about Java and Android development. He explained them app architecture, app components and app resources. He not only explained it analytically but also demonstrated by creating an app with the students. Even the students got a chance to experiment with their coding skills on Android Studio.
During the Workshop, the students were well-trained with how to use android software for application development and writing code for the application. 

Dr. Vikrant Sharma, Dean, Engineering said, “Development is the part and parcel for Computer Science and Engineering, specially Android development which is the need of the hour.”
 GNA Dr. Anurag Sharma, Professor and Head(CSE) threw light upon the importance of the Android development to the students and said, “The University always organize hands-on workshops for enhancing the skills of the students.”
