Guru Nanak Dev University Drama Club organized play Udhara Pati

Amritsar: The Drama Club of Guru Nanak Dev University organized  a comedy play 'Udhara Pati' at Dashmesh Auditorium in the University premises in collaboration with Rangkarmi Manch, Amritsar. 

Vice Chancellor Professor (Dr.) Jaspal Singh Sandhu and Prof. Shweta Shanoy, MYAS-GNDU Department of Sports Sciences and Medicine of Guru Nanak Dev University were the special guests. Dr. Preet Mohinder Singh Bedi, Dean Students Welfare welcomed the guests and others. Dr. Sunil in-charge, Drama Club and Head, Department of Hindi gave details about activities of the Drama Club.

The play was a comical dramatization of the generation gap in 21st century and the habitual flaunting and building a fake personality, and was directed by Manchpreet Singh. Encompassing with what duality in personality suffer every single phase of life and play mirrors a societal structure in an aboriginal composite manner. Play further discusses the certain shift in the narrow mindedness and need to subtle shift of cooperation and understanding between parents and children with the changing trends of the generation. This event was supported by Timeless Amritsar. 

Prof. (Dr.) Jaspal Singh Sandhu thanked and appreciated the performers, club and their director. The audience with their beautiful reviews turned the chapter with a beautiful ending. On this occasion a large number of faculty including Dr. Amandeep Singh, Dr. Balbir Singh, guest and students were present.
