Such events help young minds think strategically, develop discipline, and infuse a greater passion for the sport. They also offer great scope for students to engage, learn from each other, and present their talent on a national platform. In Greenwood High, we think such experiences lead significantly to students' all-around development, academically, emotionally, and socially."
The championship transformed the Greenwood High campus into a center of concentration, engagement, and education, as students and mentors shared their experiences and enthusiasm for chess. The event concluded on a note of camaraderie and achievement, reinforcing the value of chess as a sport that cultivates patience, precision, and intellectual growth.
