Mohali, February 1, 2026: Under the visionary leadership of Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, Chancellor of CGC University Mohali and recipient of the Father of Education International Award, the Great Navbharat Mission Foundation organized a special program aimed at digital education, gender equality, and inclusive learning.
The Foundation launched the "Shikshit Beti, Viksit Bharat" (Educated Daughter, Developed India) initiative to honor meritorious girl students from villages surrounding Jhanjeri. To encourage digital literacy and academic excellence, computers were gifted to girls who secured positions in the merit list. The Foundation believes that educating a girl is akin to laying the foundation for a progressive and developed nation.
Continuing the commitment to nation-building under the leadership of Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, the Foundation established state-of-the-art computer laboratories at Government Schools in Jhanjeri and Chunni Kalan under the theme "Shikshit Bharat, Samarth Bharat." These labs will provide students with modern digital education facilities and help prepare them for future careers. On this occasion, Foundation representatives stated that under the guidance of S. Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, the organization is striving to ensure that quality education and digital tools reach every child, especially those in rural areas.
This initiative was widely appreciated by students, parents, school management, and the local community. The Great Navbharat Mission Foundation reaffirmed its mission to empower youth and contribute to the building of an educated India.
