Ludhiana, January 5, 2026: Sanatan Seva Samiti Punjab Malwa Zone 1, an associate of the Aam Aadmi Party, is running a campaign to connect Sanatanis with their culture by organizing a series of Shree Hanuman Chalisa recitations in the zone.  Under the chairmanship of Rupinder Kaur, the in-charge of the Chalisa campaign in the metropolitan area, a Shree Hanuman Chalisa recitation was organized in the local Western Assembly constituency.  Malwa Zone 1 General Secretary Varun Mehta, District In-charge Nikhil Sharma, and Zone Secretary Yashpal Sharma were prominently present.

 

On this occasion, after the recitation of Shree Hanuman Chalisa seven times, Varun Mehta addressed the gathering and said that the committee is constantly working for the benefit of religion by bringing together Sanatanis from across the state. In this regard, for the first time in the state, the committee is organizing a grand procession of Lord Shree Sita Ram on January 18, in the Atam Nagar and Southern Assembly constituencies.  The party's top leadership and all religious and social representatives of the city will participate.  Saints will also come to give their blessings.

 

Varun Mehta said that several campaigns are being run to connect Sanatanis in the metropolitan area.  In recent days, meetings were held in Moga, Kotkapura, and Faridkot, and appointment letters were distributed to coordinators and block presidents. He urged the people of the city to participate enthusiastically in this procession.

Rupinder Kaur, in-charge of the committee's Hanuman Chalisa campaign, said that under the guidance of the committee's national head, Shri Vijay Sharma, four weekly Shree Hanuman Chalisa recitations have been organized in the metropolitan area so far, and there is great enthusiasm among the people of the city regarding this campaign. People have also supported organizing the Chalisa recitation daily instead of weekly.

On this occasion, Atam Nagar constituency coordinators Bharat Sharma Nauni, Aman Saini, and Sahil Pathak said that preparations for the procession are in full swing. Invitation letters are being distributed to people throughout the city. Our goal is to involve the youth.  The aim is to connect them with Sanatani culture.

Besides others, Pandit Kamal Mishra, Saroj, Mamta Rani, Rupinder Kaur, Shashi, Vanita, Darshana, Babli, Asha, Nimmi, Aniket, Poonam, Ashok Gupta, Paramjit Kaur, Kritika and others were also present on this occasion.
