Grand Procession Organized by Sanatan Seva Samiti

Ludhiana, January 19, 2026: A grand procession of Lord Shri Ram was organized by the Sanatan Seva Samiti Punjab.  The event was organized by District In-charge Nikhil Sharma, Bharat Sharma Nauni, Sahil Pathak, Bharat Saini, Sarvjeet Sharma, and others.

The procession started from Daba Road.  Punjab Government's Tourism and Cultural Department Advisor Deepak Bali, MLAs Ashok Parashar Pappi, Rajinderpal Kaur Cheena, Kulwant Sidhu, National Head of the Samiti Vijay Sharma, Mayor Principal Inderjit Kaur, Samiti's Zone In-charge Varun Mehta, Senior Deputy Mayor Rakesh Parashar, Women's Commission member Ajinder Kaur, Deputy Mayor Prince Johar, Head of the Brahmin Welfare Board Pankaj Sharda, and other prominent personalities were present. They lit the ceremonial lamp and offered coconuts before commencing the procession.

Along the route, nearly 67 different market committees and religious and social organizations set up langars (community kitchens) and showered flowers on the procession. The procession started from Shri Harikrishna Public School, Daba Road, and passed through Kartar Chowk, Maggad Chakki, Eet Wala Chowk, Labor Chowk, Quality Chowk, Chimney Road, Z-Mod, Med Chakki, Baba Mukand Singh School, Gulati Chowk, and Mata Rani Road, finally concluding at Shri Vaishno Devi Khatu Shyamji Temple.

The procession organizers Nikhil Sharma, Bharat Sharma Nauni, and Yashpal Sharma honored all the temple committees and participants with floats.
