Chandigarh, August 29, 2025: On the occasion of National Sports Day, Hockey Chandigarh organized a grand event at the Sector-42 Hockey Stadium.
The highlight of the evening was the final match of the Chandigarh State Senior Men’s Hockey Championship 2025, where 3 BRD Airforce and SGGS Club 26 Blue clashed in an exciting title encounter. With a spirited performance, 3 BRD Airforce emerged victorious by 4-1 goals and lifted the championship trophy.
The program began with the final match. At half-time, players took an oath of sportsmanship and integrity in the presence of the Chief Guest. Following the match, the closing ceremony and prize distribution were held, where the winner and runner-up teams were honored.
Hockey Chandigarh President Karan Gilhotra said that this event would not only encourage players but also serve as a medium to inspire youth towards sports.
