Governor Gulab Chand Kataria commends DCM Group's efforts in education
Punjab Governor Gulab Chand Kataria attended the International Festival of Artificial Intelligence and Emerging Technology (Aitsav) organized by DCM Group of Schools as the Chief Guest today. He lauded the Group's continuous contribution to the field of education for over the past eight decades.

Ludhiana, August 30, 2025: Punjab Governor Gulab Chand Kataria attended the International Festival of Artificial Intelligence and Emerging Technology (Aitsav) organized by DCM Group of Schools as the Chief Guest today. He lauded the Group's continuous contribution to the field of education for over the past eight decades.
The third edition of Aitsav was hosted at DCM Young Entrepreneur School (DCM YES), aimed at encouraging students to explore Artificial Intelligence, innovation, and science. Over 1,000 students from more than 50 schools across the country and abroad participated in the event.
Notable figures present included Former DGP Punjab Dr. D R Bhatti, Brigadier P S Cheema, Group Commander NCC Punjab, and District Education Officer Dimple Tandon, among other distinguished guests.
The event commenced with a grand opening ceremony, featuring a spectacular dance performance by students of DCM YES. Following this, DCM Group CEO Dr. Anirudh Gupta shared the journey of DCM Group's 80 years of educational excellence. During the ceremony, Governor Kataria unveiled the Group’s 80 years logo, marking the completion of 80 successful years.
In a remarkable performance, students of DCM Presidency School showcased the journey of science from 1946 to the present-day era of Artificial Intelligence, leaving the guests in awe. Governor Kataria honored the winners of Atsav, who impressed the audience with their innovative projects and startups.
Governor Kataria expressed immense admiration for the Group’s ongoing efforts in education. He highlighted the significance of innovation, entrepreneurship, and technological advancements alongside traditional education. He emphasized that the festival was not just a technical event but a glimpse into India's bright future, stressing the importance of mastering technology for today’s youth.
Dr. Anirudh Gupta, in his address, reflected on DCM Group's resilience in the face of challenges, from the partition of India to the 1988 floods and recent pandemic hardships. He spoke proudly of the Group's role in shaping the nation, producing thousands of professionals, including IAS, IPS officers, military officials, doctors, and engineers, who have made significant contributions to society.
