Government requested to behave like government: GS Bali

Dharamshala: Ex-minister of HP, GS Bali said that due to the negligence of the government and its unplanned decisions, Himachal has reached at the top, in the rising rate of Corona in the entire country. He added that the situation is clear as we go through the Corona figures, yet the Chief Minister says that this is propaganda of the Congress party.

Bali said, “When the rallies were being staged to demonstrate the power of the ruling party in the state and the crowd was unnecessarily gathered, even then we kept warning the ruling party, to act as a responsible opposition, that the government itself should not create such a situation that Corona could spawn easily. When it was a time to be aware, to keep the situation under control, then the Chief Minister used to say that we are better than the rest of the states. But the situation slowly slipped out of control, due to the negligence of the ruling party.”

He said that now when the national figures are indicating the worst situation of Himachal, the Chief Minister is still reflecting this to be a propaganda of the Congress.

Reacting to the daily U-turning of the government on its own decisions, Bali said that decisions are taken in a haste, without any study of the situation. Government u turns daily within hours of its orders and administrative staff whom to implement the decision, remains sceptical.

Bali said, “The government has completely failed in this front and is blaming the general public and the opposition for it. The government is requested to behave like the government.”

He said that instead of blaming the opposition the Jai Ram government should concentrate itself to save the public from this pandemic. Bali added, “The government should pay attention to the measures to save people on a war footing. Every life matters and the government has to care for it.”
