Government Home Science College signs MoU with Singer India Limited

Chandigarh, January 8, 2023: Government Home Science College, Chandigarh signs an MoU with Singer India Ltd on Saturday. MOU will provide enhanced opportunities in skill development of students. Various collaborative training sessions with Singer India Ltd will equip the students about latest technical knowhow of operating sewing machines, various needle craft technique, latest trends in embroidery and pattern making. It also intends to co-operate and focus the efforts of each party on research activities, expertise exchange programme, conducting lectures/seminars/workshops, placement support and training for the benefits of the students. The college would also extend its support by providing its infrastructural facilities for the conduct of related events.
