GGNIVS Organises Quiz Competition

Ludhiana, February 9, 2016: GGNIVS Business club organized quiz competition yesterday. The program began with a few inspirational words from the college Director, S.Manjit Singh Chhabra, who, as ever was par excellence when interacting with college students. Four teams participated and each team comprised four students. The teams were named as Accountants, Bankers, Credtors and Debtors. During the preliminary round questions related to Economics, Laws, Accounts, Direct Tax and Computers were asked. Second round had questions related to General Knowledge Round three was adequately named as Bulls eye ,which required the participants to identify certain video clippings. Fourth round tested the participants awareness about current affairs. Round fifth had a set of audio recording to be identified logo identification was fun with many in the audience itching to give answers. Fast and Furious round was a real brain teaser requiring the participants to answer maximum number of questions within minimum allotted time. The whole event thoroughly involved the audience, who participated enthusiastically, with some of them winning prizes.The team Accountants, that had Vishesh Kumar, Sahil Gupta, Kirandeep Kaur and Abhinav won the first prize. The second prize went to the Creditors who were only marginally behind the Accountants.Overall the whole show was highly informative and inspirational to the non-participants too. The winners were congratulated by the college Director, S.Manjit Singh Chhabra.
.He apprised the students of the need to keep themselves abreast of the world around. So as to keep pace with changing times. He stressed on the fact that the real worth of a students lies not just in the acquisition of a degree but enhancing his practical and general knowledge skills.That way they will be better prepared for the global market.
