Free check-up camp organized at Lyallpur Khalsa College 

Jalandhar: A free check-up camp was organized by the Department of Physiotherapy, Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar under the guidance of College Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra along with Dr. Raju Sharma, Head of Department Physiotherapy. As per the proceedings of this program, a one-day free check up camp was conducted by a team of experts along with staff and students of the department on issues concerning bones in human body. Staff of the department rendered their expertise for the camp whilst students in a large number also volunteered their services throughout the day. Speaking on the occasion, College Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra addressed the occasion by appreciating the role played by such bone densitometry camps in spreading awareness regarding physiotherapy and its enormous benefits to mankind. Dr. Raju Sharma, Head of the Physiotherapy Department informed that over 180 people got themselves examined thoroughly by virtue of this camp aimed at spreading awareness regarding Osteoporosis and the importance of Calcium and Vitamin C in the same direction. The entire faculty of the Department of Physiotherapy namely Dr. Jaswant Kaur, Dr Priyank Sharda, Dr Richa Sharma, Prof. Komaldeep and Prof. Rajveer Kaur, Prof. Sonia and Ms. Vineet Kaur contributed immensely in the successful conduct of the camp.
