Four day CT Seven Side Football Tournament 2021 concludes at CT Group

Jalandhar, December 30, 2021: A four day CT Seven Side Football Tournament 2021 concluded at CT Group of Institutions, South Campus, Shahpur in which 28 teams from various villages and clubs competed with each other.  Teams from Baba Diwan Singh Academy; Sansarpur Football Academy; Khusropur Government School; SAS JPS School; Mithapur Football Academy; Sant Baba Singh School etc participated with utmost zeal and preparation. The teams for semi finals were Sant Baba Bagh Singh International School vs Khusropur Government School and Baba Diwan Singh Academy vs BRS Hussainbadh played the semi-final match. The final match was played between Khusropur Government School and BRS Academy.

The team BRS Hussainbadh has won the tournament trophy along with the cash prize of Rs. 11,000, followed by team Khusropur Government School won Runners-Up trophy along with Rs. 5,100.

The tournament was closed by Chief Guest Rakesh Sharma, Principal Sai Dass Anglo Sanskrit Senior Secondary School Jalandhar; CT Group Campus Director Dr. Rahul Malhotra along with the presence of Dean Academics Dr. Anupamdeep Sharma, Dr. Vaneet Thakur and Sports In-Charge Satpal.

On this occasion, CT Group Managing Director Manbir Singh said, “I congratulate the winning teams and also appreciate the sincere efforts of participating teams as they have played quite well. Participation in sports and games help us to balance our personalities and the students can display their stamina and strength. The combination of mind and strength also proves beneficial in the curricular performance.”
