Fortis Hospital Ludhiana celebrating Nutrition week 2016

Ludhiana, September 1, 2016: Fortis Hospital Ludhiana is celebrating Nutrition week 2016. It was inaugurated by Mr.Vivan Singh Gill, Director, Fortis Hospital Ludhiana by Lamp lighting ceremony. The motto of this week is “Healthy Bite Makes You Right.” Taking the lead towards observing this week with the vision of creating awareness among the masses especially under the leadership of Department of Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics. Surprise gift were also given to the lucky winners.
Programme was held under the supervision of Dr. Ankush Mehta, Medical Superintendent, Ms. Sumita & Ms. Aakriti Sangar, Mr. Munish & Mr. Barun (FnB) Fortis Hospital Ludhiana.
Giving information regarding this week Mr. Vivan Singh Gill, Director, Fortis Hospital Ludhiana said that we are celebrating this week to spread awareness among the masses regarding the impact of nutrition. Ms. Sumita, Senior Dietician, Fortis Hospital Ludhiana also spoke on healthy diet.
Patients and their relatives, Fortis Hospital staff & employers found the programme very interesting and educative & appreciated the hard work put. Most of the Doctors and staff vowed to participate in controlling various Health Problems and Protecting their Future!!
A healthy food street was also organised to make the people aware about healthy options rather than unhealthy street food. It was appreciated by visitors.
