Essay Writing Contest on ‘India's G20 Presidency: A Step towards Global Change’ organised at Home Science College

Chandigarh, March 28, 2023: The Literary Society of Government Home Science College organized an Essay Writing Competition on “India's G20 Presidency: A Step towards Global Change” within the premises of the college. The rationale was to make students aware about the global initiatives taken by the Government of India under its G-20 presidency. Students were also apprised of the ambitious, inclusive, decisive and action oriented policies of India to counter challenges of hunger, poverty and the climate change at both the national as well as global scale. More than 30 students participated in the event and submitted their essays in Hindi, English and Punjabi languages respectively.

While applauding the efforts of the students, Prof. Sudha Katyal, Principal of the College, encouraged the Students to participate actively in the activities centred on G-20 and the global initiatives of India.
