Essar Bulk Terminal Paradip Limited bags multiple accolades at 22nd Greentech Annual Awards 2022

Mumbai, September 15, 2022: Essar Bulk Terminal Paradip Limited (EBTPL), one of the flagship assets of Essar Global Fund Ltd (EGFL), under its Infrastructure & Logistics portfolio, bagged two awards at the 22nd Greentech Annual Awards 2022. The felicitation ceremony serves as a catalyst for understanding the basic value in business excellence and sustainability.
 
EBTPL bagged awards under two categories. The “22nd Annual Greentech Environment Award 2022” for Environment Protection category, this award was conferred upon EBTPL for representing the highest level of commitment to environment protection practices and management. The award aims to recognise model “Environment Protection” operations and system and the evidence of their impact to business vitality.
 
Second, the ‘9th Greentech CSR India Award in the ‘Promotion of Health Care’ category - the award was bestowed upon EBTPL for its CSR work done through Essar Vision Centre. The facility has been set-up at Biju Memorial Hospital Paradip, to help the residents of Paradip and adjoining areas have access to eye care and treatment. Essar Vision Centre has been providing comprehensive eye testing from its inception, and the centre is well-equipped with modern ophthalmic instruments for better eye care. The Centre has treated over 45,000 patients and has also been providing free medicines, eye drops and presbyopia glasses to those in need.
 
The felicitation ceremony was held in Guwahati, Assam recently. The awards were presented by Ved Prakash Maheswar, Former Director-ONGC Limited, Kamleshswar Sharan, Managing Director & CEO-Greentech Foundation and Kiran DM, Chief Executive Officer-ONGC Foundation. Smruti Ranjan Samantaray, Senior Manager (Operation & Environment) and Yugajyoti Mohanty, CSR In-charge attended the ceremony and received awards on behalf of the organisation.
