Ensuring Easy Access to Revenue Services is Administration’s Priority: DC Sachin Gupta
Reiterating the district administration’s commitment to good governance, Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta said that ensuring easy access to revenue services for citizens remains a top priority. He directed officers to provide services in a time-bound, transparent, and hassle-free manner, and to implement new departmental initiatives at the village level by selecting one village per tehsil.
Rohtak, April 10, 2026: Reiterating the district administration’s commitment to good governance, Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta said that ensuring easy access to revenue services for citizens remains a top priority. He directed officers to provide services in a time-bound, transparent, and hassle-free manner, and to implement new departmental initiatives at the village level by selecting one village per tehsil.
Chairing the monthly review meeting of the Revenue Department at the Mini Secretariat, the Deputy Commissioner instructed revenue officers to remain present in their courts and ensure timely disposal of pending cases. He emphasized that along with document registration, mutation entries must also be completed promptly as per government instructions. He also directed that mismatched data on the “Meri Fasal Mera Byora” portal be verified at the earliest.
Reviewing key services, he issued directions regarding timely registration of documents, disposal of pending mutations and demarcation cases, accuracy of land records, updating of tatima, digitization initiatives, implementation of Agristack, and Aadhaar/PPP seeding. A detailed review of district-wise pending cases and delays was conducted, and corrective measures were discussed.
The Deputy Commissioner directed that all pending mutation cases be resolved within the next 10 days and that Jamabandi records of Girawad be brought online within one month, while ensuring timely completion of records for Bhaini Chandrapal as well.
He stressed the need to reduce pendency in mutations and demarcation cases, accelerate document registration, and ensure error-free and reliable land records. He further directed officers to enhance transparency and accountability through effective use of technology, strengthen field-level monitoring, and resolve IT-related issues on priority.
Clear responsibilities were assigned at SDM, tehsil, and district levels, with instructions for regular internal reviews and strict monitoring of pending cases.
During the meeting, various aspects such as digital crop records, token pendency, tatima updates, partition cases, land records (khana-kasht), and consolidation were also reviewed.
In a related development, Financial Commissioner (Revenue) Sumita Mishra reviewed multiple agenda points through video conferencing, including pending tokens, Agristack, paperless registry, pending mutations and partitions, portal updates, large-scale mapping, Jamabandi updates, Aadhaar seeding, and loan entry processes, and issued necessary directions.
The meeting was attended by SDMs Ankita Panwar, Ashish Kumar, and Vipin Kumar, City Magistrate Ankit Kumar, tehsildars, naib tehsildars, and other concerned officials.
