Engineer’s Day celebrated at LGC

Ludhiana, September 15, 2018: Engineering College of LGC celebrated Engineers’ Day to pay a tribute to world famous engineer and Bharat Ratna recipient, Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya on his 158th Birth Anniversary. On the occasion, students presented the life andachievements of Sir M.V. Various technical events like project, models &posters were prepared and displayed by the students. Very innovative ideas were thrown by the budding engineer’s to the audience to really appreciate the hidden talent and skills of the students More than 80 project models were presented by the students from the various streams of engineering. Students also decorated the walls with technical themes. Some advanced concepts of engineering were also presented by the students. In the end, management members MR. Rajiv Gulati and Mr. Vikram Gover took the round of the pavilion and evinced keen interest in this activities and distributed certificates and prizes to the winners of the various competitions. Director LGC, Dr. J.K. Chawla, Principal Engg. DR. Y.K. Chabbra and Principal Mgmt. Dr. Nishi Bala appreciated the efforts of the students and faculty to make this day a grand success and also congratulated the students and faculty members on this special day.
