Engaging Alumni Interaction Explores “Beyond the Traditional Bar & Bench: The 360° Future of Legal Careers in the Age of AI”
The University Institute of Legal Studies, Panjab University, Chandigarh, today organised an engaging alumni interaction titled “Beyond the Traditional Bar & Bench: The 360° Future of Legal Careers in a Changing World and Artificial Intelligence”.
 
                        Chandigarh, October 31, 2025: The University Institute of Legal Studies, Panjab University, Chandigarh, today organised an engaging alumni interaction titled “Beyond the Traditional Bar & Bench: The 360° Future of Legal Careers in a Changing World and Artificial Intelligence”.
The event was organised by the Central Placement Cell, Panjab University as a collaborative initiative with the Alumni Cell and the Career Development Cell, UILS.
The session brought together two of UILS’s most distinguished alumni- Mr.Varun Bajaj, Co-founder and Managing Partner of RSD Bajaj Global Law Firm and Navjosh Singh, Head of A&R, Mass Appeal South Asia, Founder and Editor of HipHop-N-More and a GRAMMY Voting Member. Both alumni shared their inspiring journeys, illustrating the vast potential of legal education beyond conventional career paths.
Prof. (Dr.) Shruti Bedi, Director, UILS, Panjab University, graced the event as Patron along with Prof. Meena Sharma, Honorary Director, Centre Placement Cell as well as Prof. (Dr.) Jai Mala and Prof. (Dr.) Virendra Kumar Negi as Faculty Coordinators. The event was coordinated by student organizers Dishita Mittal, JugadAnand and Keshav Sharma from the Alumni Cell and Nandni, Pawni, and Yash Mittal from CDC.
Varun Bajaj also announced a special placement opportunity for two final-year students of UILS at RSD Bajaj Global Law Firm, Gurugram, recognizing merit and potential among aspiring lawyers in the field of corporate law.
