ECTOPIA-2013 enters concluding day

Ludhiana, February 8, 2013: The enthusiasm of students and participants reached its peak on the third and concluding day of Ectopia-2013 held at Dayanand Medical College and Hospital (DMCH).

On Thursday evening, the students witnessed thrilling performance by rock band-Street Zammer. The band brought a high energy performance, entertaining audiences with a mix of pop, rock, county, and funk music styles.

The today’s events began with segments including Group Songs, T-shirt Slogan Writing, Ramp Walk, Turn Coat Extempore, Break Ke Baad (Ad-Fads). The 2008 batch was still ahead of other batches, while the 2010 batch was in second spot.

The highlight of today’s morning events was Ad Fads segment, in which the students conceptualised and enact an advertisement based on a humorous concept of product/services. The excellent performance and humorous ideas in ‘Ad Fads’ segment left the audience in splits. The first position in Ad Fads was bagged by batch 2008, second by batch 2009 and third was bagged by batch 2010.The participants also performed ramp show with the slogans writing on their T-shirts.  

A group of students participated in T-shirt slogans competition and walked on the ramp,convey funny messages to the message. A valedictory function will be held today evening, which will have group dance performances and a stunning fashion show
