Drug Awareness Campaign (Nasha Mukti Abhiyan)

The Centre for Public Health, in collaboration with the National Service Scheme (NSS), today organised a Drug Awareness Campaign (Nasha Mukti Abhiyan). The activity was held under the visionary guidance and leadership of Dr Manoj Kumar, Chairperson, Centre for Public Health, and Dr Parveen Goyal, Coordinator, NSS.

Chandigarh, November 14, 2025: The Centre for Public Health, in collaboration with the National Service Scheme (NSS), today organised a Drug Awareness Campaign (Nasha Mukti Abhiyan). The activity was held under the visionary guidance and leadership of Dr Manoj Kumar, Chairperson, Centre for Public Health, and Dr Parveen Goyal, Coordinator, NSS.

The campaign witnessed active participation from numerous students who engaged in impactful awareness activities aimed at promoting a drug-free society. Their efforts focused on educating people about the harmful effects of substance abuse and encouraging positive, healthy lifestyle choices.

The event was organised by Poonam Sharma, Faculty, Centre for Public Health, whose coordination ensured the smooth and effective execution of the campaign.
