Dr Raghuram Rajan to deliver the 14th K P Hormis Commemorative Lecture

Chandigarh, February 12, 2016: Reserve Bank of India Governor, Dr.Raghuram G Rajan will deliver the 14th K P Hormis Commemorative Lecture at 6.00 PM on 13th February 2016 at Hotel Le Meridian, Kochi. Dr.Rajan will speak on the topic 'Financial Sector Reforms in India: The Past and the Future'. This is the first function to be attended by Dr. Raghuram Rajan in Kerala after assuming office of the Governor of RBI. CA.Nilesh Shivji Vikamsey, Chairman, Federal Bank and Mr.Shyam Srinivasan, MD & CEO, Federal Bank will attend the function.

Started in 1996, the 'K P Hormis Commemorative Lecture' is an annual Lecture series organized by FedBank Hormis Memorial Foundation, the special purpose vehicle for the CSR initiatives of Federal Bank, to perpetuate the memory and ethos of the bank’s illustrious founder. The eminent personalities, who delivered lectures as part of the series over the years, include Shri. P. Chidambaram, Shri. S. Venkitaraman, Shri. M. M. Jacob, Shri. Montek Singh Ahluwalia, Dr. V. Kurien, Shri. N. R. Narayana Murthy, Shri. Arun Jaitley, Shri. V. Leeladhar, Shri. M. Damodaran, Dr. Shashi Tharoor, Dr. G. Madhavan Nair, Dr. C. Rangarajan and Dr. Arun Shourie.

Digital capability, which is a major strength of Federal Bank, will be on display at the venue, where an e-lounge will come up showcasing the various digital products and services pioneered by the Bank.
