DOUBLE MURDER: Pall of gloom descended on Dhindsa village

Ferozepur, January 4, 2013: A pall of gloom descended on the Dhindsa village in Ferozepur District as soon as the news of murder of two real brothers poured in. 

Immediately on getting the news, Narinder Singh, SHO, Ghall Khurd police station reached on the spot and started enquiring into the incident.

On the statement of Jarnail Singh, son of Arjun Singh of village Mallian falling in Tarn Taran police station, uncle of the deceased, a case of murder has been registered against Jeewan, Sewak, Golu, Keepa, Gheetu Chakki Wala of village Dhindsa. 

It is pertinent to mention that both the murdered persons are real brothers.

Inspector Narinder Singh informed that all the accused booked in the murder case are absconding and the police is raiding at the suspected places to nab them. 

Giving further details, he further said, at the residence of Gurbhej Singh alias Bheja, a birth party of a son was going on and music system was also on.  According to the complainant, on the evening of 31st December, 2012, his cousin Pardeep Singh alias Pant, 21 years and Navneet Singh alias Lovely alias Pappa, 7 years son of Lakhwinder Singh, wanted to play the songs of his choice and one of the booked persons Jeewan was interested in the songs of his choice.  On this issue, there was a scuffle between them and both Pardeep and Navneet were so brutally beaten that both died as they could not bear the pain of injuries.

SHO Ghall Khurd police station Narinder Singh said, no intimation about the dispute and murder had been given earlier and on coming to know of the double murder incident, the police came into action and started further proceedings.
