District Taxation Bar Association(Direct Taxes), Ludhiana organises Lunch get together with Officers of Income Tax Department

Ludhiana, January 30, 2019: District Taxation Bar Association(Direct Taxes), Ludhiana today organised Lunch get together with the Officers of Income Tax Department on the occasion of charge taking ceremony of the new executive team of the Bar. Bar also organised the programme of honoring all the members of the Bar above the age of 70 years. They were honored for contribution to the Bar and profession. Chief Commissioner of Income Tax, Sh.B.K.Jha honoured the members in presence of outgoing President Sh.Subash C Jain. CA Arun Gupta took the charge as President of the Bar. He thanked all the members and said Role of the Bar is not only to enable practice of rule of law by the members but it is preservation of rule of law. Administration of justice is a joint venture in which practitioners and officers are equal participants. He said team in tandem with the Income Tax department to ensure preservation of rule of law for all the people. He praised the previous team for work done by done and hailed seniors for their contribution towards Bar and profession. He pledged to work for betterment of Bar and profession. CA Dheeraj Chatley took over as secretary, CA Vipan Gupta as Vice President, CA Piyush SIngla as joint Secretary. Executive members who got elected were CA Pushkal Soni, CA Amrish Gupta and CA Kartik Jain.
