Ludhiana, July 4, 2013: District Development and Planning Board Chairman Hira Singh Gabria,SAD Vice President Dr. Terjinder Pal Singh and Senior Akali Leader Baba Ajit Singh welcomed Sukhbir Singh Badal at Chandigarh Airport on arrival after his foreign visit today .
Gabria apprised the Deputy Chief Minister about the various development and welfare plans, chalked out by the District Development Board for the district and requested him to ensure required funds for the early completion of the programmes. The leaders also thanked him for giving special attention to develop Ludhiana as an International city by building excellent infrastructure.
They requested the deputy CM to visit Ludhiana and review the progress of various projects.
The Deputy CM assured that he will visit Ludhiana shortly and take a thorough review of the development plans and ensure speedy implementation.
