Department of Library and Information Science, Panjab University, Holds Alumni Meet at Law Auditorium
Department of Library and Information Science today organised Alumni Meet in collaboration with the Panjab University Alumni Association. A number of Alumni attended the meeting at the Law Auditorium where the centralised event was being organised.

Chandigarh, November 1, 2025: Department of Library and Information Science today organised Alumni Meet in collaboration with the Panjab University Alumni Association. A number of Alumni attended the meeting at the Law Auditorium where the centralised event was being organised.
The chief guest at the event was PU Vice Chancellor Prof. Renu Vig. This year, the department honoured two alumni, Dr. Neeza Singh and Prof. H. P. S. Kalra. During the meeting, both the alumni were facilitated with a citation and memento by the university authorities. Some of the prominent alumni from the different departments shared their memories and they mentioned that whatever they are today is due to this university.
After that, Alumni of the department gathered in the department library, where Prof. Rupak Chakravarty, Chairperson of the department welcomed all the alumni and interacted with them. They cherished their memories of the good old days spent in the department.
