Department of Anthropology, Panjab University Organises Guest Lecture on the Intersection of Anatomy, Forensic Anthropology and Biology
The Department of Anthropology, Panjab University, Chandigarh, today organised an engaging guest lecture on “The Intersection of Anatomy, Forensic Anthropology and Biology”. The session was organised with the objective of providing students with an interdisciplinary perspective on the application of anatomical, biological and anthropological knowledge in forensic investigations.
Chandigarh, October 6, 2026: The Department of Anthropology, Panjab University, Chandigarh, today organised an engaging guest lecture on “The Intersection of Anatomy, Forensic Anthropology and Biology”. The session was organised with the objective of providing students with an interdisciplinary perspective on the application of anatomical, biological and anthropological knowledge in forensic investigations.
The lecture featured Dr. Daisy and Dr. Sanjeev as distinguished guest speakers. They shared their expertise, professional experiences and practical insights, highlighting the relevance of interdisciplinary approaches in the field of forensic science. The speakers discussed the significance of anatomy, forensic anthropology and biology in understanding human remains, identification and medico-legal investigations.
