DC Sachin Gupta urges Workers to Avail Haryana Government Welfare Schemes
Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta has appealed to workers employed in industrial and commercial establishments to take maximum advantage of the various labour welfare schemes being implemented by the Haryana Government.
Rohtak, February 1, 2026: Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta has appealed to workers employed in industrial and commercial establishments to take maximum advantage of the various labour welfare schemes being implemented by the Haryana Government.
He said that through the Labour Department, several initiatives have been launched for the social, educational, health and economic empowerment of workers and their families. These schemes include assistance for children’s education, sports and cultural activities, scholarships, marriage support, maternity benefits, bicycles, sewing machines, hearing aids, tricycles, artificial limbs, accident relief and other forms of financial aid.
Giving the details of the benefits, the Deputy Commissioner informed that workers’ children are provided ₹3,000 to ₹4,000 for school uniforms, books and notebooks; scholarships ranging from ₹10,000 to ₹21,000; ₹51,000 under the Kanyadaan scheme; ₹21,000 under the Shagun scheme; maternity assistance of ₹12,000 for the birth of a boy and ₹15,000 for the birth of a girl. In case of accidents, assistance of ₹1 lakh to ₹3 lakh is available, while widows or dependents are entitled to ₹3 lakh. An amount of ₹15,000 is provided for last rites, and up to ₹5 lakh is admissible under the Chief Minister’s Social Security Scheme.
DC Sachin Gupta further said that for detailed information and the application process, workers may contact the office of the Deputy Labour Commissioner (Welfare), Rohtak, Block-1, Ground Floor, Old Building, Mini Secretariat, Rohtak, on any working day.
He reiterated that the district administration remains fully committed to the welfare of workers and is making continuous efforts to ensure timely benefits for all eligible beneficiaries. The Deputy Commissioner urged all entitled workers to apply with the required documents and avail themselves of these public welfare schemes.
