Purushottam Das Rungta Charitable Trust Organises Community Kitchen on Independence Day

The Purushottam Das Rungta Charitable Trust organised  its 228th  Community Kitchen, or 'Ann Bhandara ' in Panchkula's Industrial Area Phase I, to mark India’s 80th Independence Day. The members and volunteers of the Trust served food to needy members of the community.

Panchkula, August 16, 2026:  The Purushottam Das Rungta Charitable Trust organised  its 228th  Community Kitchen, or 'Ann Bhandara ' in Panchkula's Industrial Area Phase I, to mark India’s 80th Independence Day. The members and volunteers of the Trust served food to needy members of the community.

Speaking on the occasion, Social Worker & Founder of  Purushottam Das Rungta Charitable Trust, Amitabh Rungta, said,“Independence Day is not only a time to remember the sacrifices that gave us our freedom, but also an opportunity to reaffirm our responsibility towards society. Initiatives such as an 'Ann Bhandara' remind us that the true spirit of independence lies in caring for one another, extending a helping hand to those in need, and building a more compassionate and inclusive India."
