Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta has directed the Sub-Divisional Officers (Civil) of Rohtak, Meham, and Sampla to carry out regular inspections of offices to ensure transparency, accountability, and high-quality public service delivery. These directions have been issued in the larger public interest with the objective of further strengthening transparency and accountability.

Rohtak, December 30, 2025: Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta has directed the Sub-Divisional Officers (Civil) of Rohtak, Meham, and Sampla to carry out regular inspections of offices to ensure transparency, accountability, and high-quality public service delivery. These directions have been issued in the larger public interest with the objective of further strengthening transparency and accountability.

 

As per the instructions issued by the Deputy Commissioner, the officers shall conduct regular inspections not only of their own offices but also of all subordinate offices within their respective jurisdictions. During these inspections, special emphasis will be laid on timely attendance of employees, cleanliness of office premises, adherence to prescribed rules and procedures, transparency in functioning, and the quality of service delivery.

 

Officers have also been instructed to immediately rectify any shortcomings found in procedures, formalities, or arrangements. The primary objective of these directions is to improve office functioning, enhance the effectiveness of service delivery, and provide better administrative facilities to citizens.

 

The Deputy Commissioner has further instructed the concerned officers to ensure regular interaction with the public during office inspections or scheduled public grievance hearings. This will facilitate identification, prevention, and prompt resolution of public grievances. He has made it clear that responsibility will be fixed and appropriate action initiated in cases where negligence is found in grievance redressal.

 

He emphasized that strict compliance with these instructions must be ensured so that public service can be made more effective in accordance with the spirit of good governance.
