CT University spreads message of “Social Empathy”

Ludhiana, July 21, 2022: Under the campaign of ‘Social Empathy’ School of Humanities And Physical Education’s department Sociology of CT University organised a visit  to meet  orphan children living in SGB Bal Ghar village Talwandi Khurd, Ludhiana.
This visit was organized under the supervision of Dr. Pravin Sharma, Dean Sports and Head of the School of Humanities and Physical education  of University.  CT University’s 42 students along with Arshpreet Kaur Sandhu, Assistant Prof. Sociology  visited the Bal Ghar for the activity on “Social Empathy” to promoted the social wellbeing. The students planned various activities on ‘trust’, ‘make believe’ and ‘role play’. Apart from these activities, students had collected a huge amount of grocery to donate. It was a playful and meaningful activity for both students and children.

The campaign concluded with vote of thanks to trustees of SGB Bal Ghar, students and staff those who took initiative by Dr Harsh Sadawarti, Vice-Chancellor, CT University on saying that we are social creatures and nature has sent us on earth to help each other.
