Ludhiana: A three day web series on Interdisciplinary Reflections on Life skills was organized by School of Humanities and Physical Education, CT University. The web series organized for 1st year students enrolled in various undergraduate and post graduate courses in various subjects under the broad ambit of Humanities and Physical Education aimed at developing awareness regarding pivotal life skills and helping students develop capabilities to cope up with challenges posed in various phases of life.

Experts from different disciplines including Education, Management, Sports, Psychology, and Healthcare conducted interactive sessions. Eminent speakers namely Gurwinder Singh, Wiltshire College and University Centre UK; Dr. Avijit Baidwan, MD hospitalist Stroke Medical Director; DBU, Dr. Manpreet Kaur, Principal, Partap College of Education; Education Officer Sports Authorities of India, Commonwealth Champion, Representative and Coach Indian Judo Team); Prof. Jaswant Singh, Dean Student welfare at Eternal University, Baru Sahib; Sanjeev Tyagi, Founder and Managing Director, Everest Yoga Institutes India etc discussed various life skills like Heath care, self awareness, empathy, stress management, communication skills, human values and ethics, Critical Thinking and complex problem solving and team building etc.

Dr. Baidwan threw light on how viral and bacterial heath should be dealt and informed the audience about precautions for health care in general and COVID-19 in specific.

Yashpal Solanki expatiated the job opportunities in Sports and fortified the concept of never giving up and said, “Every black belt is a white belt who never stopped trying”.

Dr. Mandeep Bhullar from CTU delivered a session on how to improve communication skills and enhance performance by recognizing strengths and weaknesses. Whereas, Dr. Vikram highlighted the importance of time management and suggested tips to handle stress and manage time

Dr. Harsh Sadawarti, Vice Chancellor CTU and Head of School Dr. Pravin thanked all the speakers for their valuable inputs and motivated the newly admitted students to work towards enhancing their skills.
