Ludhiana, July 28, 2023: CT University recently hosted a highly impactful Five-Day Faculty Development Program (FDP) under the theme "Nurturing the Academic Fraternity Holistically." The FDP was a resounding success, aimed at empowering educators and researchers to excel in their teaching, research, and overall professional development.
 
Throughout the five-day program, distinguished resource persons from diverse backgrounds shared their expertise and insights with the participants. On Day 1, Prof.(Dr.) Avadhesh Kumar Gupta, Dean-Academics, CT University, delivered an enlightening session on "Academic Delivery and Pedagogical Interventions," setting the tone for the transformative journey that followed.
 
Day 2 featured Prof.(Dr.) Abhishek Tripathi, Vice Chancellor, CT University, as the resource person, discussing "Holistic Professional Development – Various Verticals." His valuable inputs shed light on comprehensive approaches to professional growth in various disciplines.
 
The program continued with an insightful session on "Professional Development – Various Verticals" on Day 3, led by the esteemed Prof. (Dr.) Abhishek Tripathi, Pro Vice Chancellor, CT University, offering attendees a glimpse into the evolving landscape of professional growth.
 
On Day 4, the FDP welcomed Mr. Lokesh Jain, Vice Chairman-CII Ludhiana, and partner TK Steels, as the resource person on the topic of "Corporate Intervention in Academics." Mr. Jain's expert perspective delved into crucial concerns and debates, such as potential conflicts of interest, academic independence, and their impact on the quality of education and research.
 
The program's final day featured a valuable session on "Corporate Intervention in Academics – An Insight," presented by Mr. Rishabh Sharma, Deputy Director – HRDC, CT University. His valuable insights provided a comprehensive understanding of corporate engagement in academia.
 
Throughout the FDP, faculty members, researchers, and educators from diverse disciplines actively participated, engaging in meaningful discussions and exploring innovative teaching methodologies.
