43 students from Zambia and Namibia join CT University

Ludhiana, July 28, 2018: Forty three new International students from Zambia and Namibia were warmly welcomed through an induction program at CT University. These students have joined different courses and were told about career prospects of the courses. Later, they were shown the University campus and were apprised about facilities, infrastructure and academic programs in the campus.

Welcoming the students, Dr JS Dhiman, Registrar said, “I welcome the students on the behalf of CTU and wish that this would promote the cross cultural connection between India and their countries. The CTU family will always be there to cater to the academic needs of the foreign students who have come to us with a dream.”

Dean Academics, Dr GS Bakshi elaborated the curricular details of the subjects chosen by the foreign students.

Professor Sukhminder Grewal, Dean Student Affairs and Dr Kavita, Teacher In-charge of the International Students provided the students with details of the hostel and extracurricular facilities available for them.

One of the students, Andreas Llnede from Namibia said, “I am impressed with the campus of the university and the best part is that they lay more emphasis on practical teaching. The University has so many engaging courses which will provide us with great opportunities in future. I have opted for BCA (Cyber Security) as my major subject.”

Vice Chancellor, Dr Harsh Sadawarti thanked the new International students for choosing CTU for their higher education and assured them of every support.

S. Charanjit Singh Channi, Chancellor CTU interacted with the students and wished them best of luck for the pursuit of their educational careers in the campus.
