Jalandhar, December 26, 2023: CT Group devoted a day to reflection, honoring the martyrdom of Guru Gobind Singh Ji and Sahibzade, commemorating the historic Saka Sirhind. The solemn occasion included an expert lecture by Dr. Jogeshwar Singh, in charge of Religious Studies at SGPC Amritsar, who shared profound insights into the spiritual and historical significance of the event.


The event commenced with Shabad Gayan by the CT Musical Society, evoking a sense of devotion and remembrance. Dr. Jogeshwar Singh's expert lecture provided a deep understanding of the sacrifices made by Guru Gobind Singh Ji and Sahibzade during the Saka Sirhind. The audience, composed of faculty and students, absorbed the historical narrative and spiritual teachings with reverence.


The occasion also featured a demonstration of Gatka, the traditional Sikh martial art symbolizing courage, followed by the langar sewa.


The event was attended by key figures including the Director of Campus, CT Group, Dr. GS Sidhu; the Dean of Student Welfare, Dr. Arjan Singh; Heads of Institutes; faculty members, and students, creating a collective atmosphere of remembrance and unity.


Dr. Jogeshwar Singh, the distinguished speaker, reflected on the significance of observing such historical events.
