Jalandhar, April 21, 2026: CT Group of Institutions, Maqsudan, Jalandhar has signed multiple Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with leading organizations, including an IBM Worldwide Business Partner, NISM, and Tally, to strengthen academic excellence and enhance industry readiness among students.
The collaboration with the IBM associate focuses on introducing advanced learning pathways in emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, Blockchain, and Business Analytics for students of B.Tech (CSE), BCA, and BBA programs. Students will benefit from an industry-integrated curriculum, hands-on training, real-world projects, certifications, and placement support, ensuring they are equipped with future-ready technical skills.
The MoU with NISM aims to enhance students’ understanding of financial markets and investment practices. Through this initiative, students will gain exposure to financial literacy, securities markets, and regulatory frameworks, along with certification opportunities that will strengthen their careers in finance and related domains.
The collaboration with Tally is designed to provide practical knowledge in accounting and business management. Students will receive training in accounting software, GST compliance, and financial management, enabling them to develop essential skills required in the corporate and business environment.
All the MoUs will be effective for a period of four years starting from the academic session 2026. These collaborations will include structured training programs comprising classroom sessions, online learning modules, hands-on practical exposure, and continuous mentoring and evaluation to enhance students’ technical, analytical, and professional competencies.
In addition, the initiatives will promote innovation and experiential learning through hackathons, coding competitions, financial awareness activities, and student-driven projects, providing a platform for real-world problem-solving and teamwork.
Dr. Anurag Sharma, Director, CT Group of Institutions, Maqsudan, Jalandhar, appreciated the initiative and stated that such collaborations are essential in bridging the gap between academia and industry. He emphasized that integrating industry-oriented training within academic programs will significantly enhance students’ employability and prepare them for future challenges.
