CT Group Maqsudan introduces B.Tech in Cyber Security, AI and Data Science Courses

Jalandhar: CT Institute of Technology and Research, North Campus, Maqsudan that is located in the heart of the city, has started new courses titled Bachelor of Technology in Cyber Security and Bachelor of Technology in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science.

Bachelor of Technology in Cyber Security is a 4 year duration undergraduate degree which emphasizes on comprehensive knowledge of Cyber Crime, Network Security, Data structures, Design and Analysis of Algorithms, Cryptography, Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems etc. Whereas, Bachelor of Technology in Artificial Intelligence & Data Science is also a 4-year undergraduate degree program, which is offered under the Engineering stream.

Telling about these courses, Director of CT Group of Institutions, Maqsudan campus said, “Cyber Security course is designed to understand the process, practices, and gain knowledge regarding unauthorized access, protection of networks, computers, programs, and data from unknown attacks. Students will also be given add on courses which will make the students technically strong and to bridge the gap of academia and industry. In the Artificial Intelligence and Data Science programme, the students are taught about the languages understood by machines or computers through which humans can interact with them to be able to make them perform some tasks. Languages like JAVA, Prolog, Lisp, R and Python are some of the common machine languages taught to the students during their B.Tech degree study.”
