Ludhiana: The PCTE Group of Institutes proudly hosted the Crossbanding  Season 7, bringing together more than 30 distinguished principals from leading schools across Ludhiana for an enriching, collaborative, and thought-provoking academic experience.
The first session was conducted by Shilpi Gill, Principal, Manav Rachna International School, Ludhiana, on the theme “Principal IRL.” Drawing from real-life leadership experiences, she spoke about the evolving role of school principals, contemporary challenges in education, and the importance of empathy, adaptability, and student-centric decision-making.
The second session featured Col. Amarjeet Singh, Principal, Senior Secondary Residential School for Meritorious Students, Ludhiana, who conducted an engaging activity titled “The Art of Balance.” The activity focused on achieving balance between academics, discipline, emotional well-being, and leadership. The principals participated enthusiastically and thoroughly enjoyed the interactive and experiential format, which created a lively learning environment and left a lasting impact on the audience.
During the discussions, several principals shared their insights and experiences of being connected with PCTE over the years, appreciating the institute’s consistent efforts in engaging school leaders through purposeful platforms like Crossbanding. They highlighted how this forum uniquely enables principals and academic leaders to exchange ideas, discuss challenges, and learn from one another in an open and collaborative environment.
Adding a global dimension to the programme, the principals also experienced PCTE’s Global Village, organized as part of the International Students’ Week, where international students showcased their cultures, traditions, and perspectives. The initiative provided the visiting principals with a vibrant glimpse into PCTE’s multicultural, inclusive, and globally oriented campus environment.
The event concluded with a lunch hosted by the Hotel Management Department of PCTE at Indian Angeethi. The principals highly appreciated the authentic flavours, nutritional focus, professional service, and warm hospitality displayed by the PCTE students.
During the interaction, the principals were also briefed about upcoming academic initiatives, including STEM Fest 2026, an inter-school mega competitive fest designed to ignite innovation, analytical thinking, creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills among students of Classes 10th, 11th, and 12th across the domains of Science, Technology, Engineering, Medicine, and Business.
