Cosmo Arts Director Dr Meenu Kumar gets felicitated by Brahma Kumaris

In a major depiction of the Cosmo Arts (India)’s contributions towards the society during the turmoil of the pandemic, Director of Cosmo Arts Dr Meenu Kumar got felicitated by the Bhramha Kumaris Ashram committee.

New Delhi, June 28, 2022: In a major depiction of the Cosmo Arts (India)’s contributions towards the society during the turmoil of the pandemic, Director of Cosmo Arts Dr Meenu Kumar got felicitated by the Bhramha Kumaris Ashram committee. Dr Meenu Kumar was bestowed with the honor during the observance of “Azadi ke Amrit Mahotsav per Swarnim Samaj se Swarnim Bharat ke ore” at DLF Phase-2.

“I am really humbled and elated to have gotten the privilege to be amongst the special guests at the occasion. On behalf of Cosmo Arts, I express my gratitude towards the Brahma Kumaris society for recognizing our community work during the COVID crisis,” noted Dr Meenu Kumar.

Under the leadership of Dr Meenu Kumar, Cosmo Arts made major contributions towards society during the pandemic-led turmoil. Cosmo Arts (India) organized vaccination drives for the underprivileged, and distributed masks and dry rations for economically deprived people, especially labors stuck near construction sites. While the pandemic prompted the imposition of restrictions which drove towards closing of schools and the emergence of online education, Cosmo Arts collected pre-used mobiles and laptops and distributed those items among underprivileged children to ensure no disruption in their studies.

One of the most vibrant and dynamic personalities in the field of art, Dr Meenu Kumar’s artwork has been inclined towards creating a better society. Apart from being an art curator, artist and art critic, Dr Meenu Kumar is also a social activist and has founded Cos We Care – an NGO dedicated to the betterment and upliftment of the emerging artists in the society. She is also the Vice President of the Indian branch of Oisca International – a Japanese NGO with consultative status with the United Nations (UN).

Spearheaded by Dr Meenu Kumar, Cosmo Arts (India) has evolved into a treasure trove of Indian Contemporary Art. The Art Gallery showcases a vibrant and diverse collection of indigenous art. Cosmo Arts (India), in collaboration with Cos We Care Cultural and Educational Society, is dedicated to the cause of developing and nurturing the creative and artistic talents of youth from all sections of society.
