Corporate Grooming workshop organised by GGNIMT

Ludhiana, Sep 15, 2025: The Makeup and Mindset Club of GGN Institute of Management & Technology (GGNIMT) organized a Corporate Grooming Workshop to equip undergraduate students with the essential skills required for professional success.

The session was conducted by Professor Priya Arora, Assistant Professor, Department of Business Management, who engaged students in an interactive and insightful workshop. The session covered vital aspects of corporate etiquette, personal presentation, communication skills, body language, workplace behavior, and professional dressing sense. Students were also guided on the do’s and don’ts of accessories, perfumes, footwear, and digital communication etiquettes such as email and WhatsApp usage in professional settings. Through real-life examples and engaging activities, students gained practical insights into how grooming and personality development play a key role in career growth.

The workshop began with the inaugural address by Dr. Harminder Kaur, Head, Department of Business Management, who emphasized the importance of corporate readiness in today’s competitive environment. The session concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Dr. Ramandeep Kaur, Associate Professor, Department of Computer Applications, who appreciated the efforts of the club in organizing such student-centric initiatives.

On this occasion, Professor Manjit Singh Chhabra, Director, GGNIMT, applauded the initiative and highlighted that such workshops prepare students to meet the ever-evolving expectations of the corporate world. He encouraged students to actively participate in skill-development activities that go hand in hand with academic excellence.

Dr. Harpreet Singh, Principal, GGNIMT, also appreciated the efforts of the Makeup and Mindset Club for organizing the event.
