Ludhiana, May 23, 2018: Ludhiana is known for trade and industry. It is a hub of hosiery units, cycle and cycle parts unit, auto parts and many more. However, Ludhiana has gained name and fame in the field of education, especially college education, over the period. A large number of educational institutions have come up over the period in Ludhiana over the period, resulting to which Ludhiana is now known for providing quality education too. If we are not wrong then there are around eighty colleges/educational institutions etc (please see the list) that are affiliated either to Panjab University, Chandigarh or I.K.Gujral Punjab Technical University Jalandhar (IKGPTU)- which is one of the leading state technical university developed under the aegis of Punjab Government. Additionally, there are medical colleges such as DMC and CMC in Ludhiana. Even some Homoeopathic Medical Colleges are also located in Ludhiana. Ultimately, it can be said that there is a long list of colleges in Ludhiana.
As such college education in Ludhiana has become more significant in the present era because people used search not only for arts colleges in Ludhiana, commerce colleges in Ludhiana, best colleges in Ludhiana or colleges in Ludhiana for BA, colleges in Ludhiana for BSc, colleges in Ludhiana for BCom, colleges in Ludhiana for BSc but they also used to search for private colleges in Ludhiana, engineering colleges in Ludhiana and many more.
