Rohtak, January 2, 2026: Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini conducted a virtual state-level review of grievances received under the Haryana Samadhan Prakoshth and directed all district administrations to ensure speedy, transparent, and citizen-oriented resolution of complaints, particularly those that are pending or have been reopened.

During the review meeting held at the Mini Secretariat, Rohtak, Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta apprised the Chief Minister of the action taken on district-specific grievances. He informed that complaints received in Samadhan Shivirs are being disposed of strictly in accordance with government policies and prescribed guidelines.

While briefing the Chief Minister on a grievance related to widow pension, the Deputy Commissioner clarified that the matter was examined as per extant government norms, under which a beneficiary is entitled to receive only one pension benefit. The applicant concerned is already availing pension from another source and has been duly informed about the policy position by the district administration.

The Deputy Commissioner instructed all officers to prepare, by Monday, a segregated list of pending and reopened complaints received in Samadhan Shivirs - one category comprising grievances that can be resolved at the local level and the second category consisting of demand-based or policy-related matters. He emphasized that officials must personally interact with complainants while resolving grievances and clearly communicate the action taken.

The Deputy Commissioner directed that all grievances capable of being resolved at the district or sub-district level must be disposed of within 10 days, and no grievance should remain pending for more than one month. He further stressed that disposal remarks should be clear, reasoned, and comprehensive, so as to avoid unnecessary reopening of cases.

Samadhan Shivirs are being organised every Monday and Thursday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon at District-level Mini Secretariat, Rohtak and Sub-Divisional Secretariats at Maham and Sampla. Citizens may present their grievances during these Shivirs, where concerned officers remain present to facilitate on-the-spot resolution.
