CICU To Hold Interactive Session on Investment in Punjab on May 27

Ludhiana, May 26, 2015: The international level event to strengthen bi-lateral trade ties between India and Australia to boost export especially from Punjab region is all set to take place at Hotel Park Plaza, Ferozepur Road, Ludhiana on May 27. This exclusive event, by far one of the most unique of its kind has been organized by CICU in Ludhiana which is a Key Industrial and Cargo Hub Centre in the Northern Hinterland, the country’s manufacturing hub generating majority of its exports and is well known as Manchester of India for variety of industry.
Sh. Avtar Singh, President said that this Session will envisage aspects-such as various business opportunities, region-sector-specific, which industry, trading, import, export, people management, marketing, cross cultural issues- all geared towards improving the business interests of Punjab companies particularly in Ludhiana to do business with Australia.
He further informed that the response to this probably first of its kind conference here has been overwhelming as Trade and Industry Bodies in the region and beyond who have been enthusiastic in their support.

Key individuals representing exporters, importers, manufactures, CHAs and forwarders, prominent Industry Bodies as well as enforcement and regulatory authorities will be interacting with representatives of Australia covering an overview of exim- trade and related business opportunities.
