CICU delegation meets Environment Minister, Punjab

Ludhiana, September 26, 2018: Upkar Singh Ahuja, President and Pankaj Sharma, General Secretary, Chamber of Industrial and Commercial Undertakings (CICU), Ludhiana along with Vinod Thapar, President, Charanjit Singh, General Secretary, Knitwear & Textile Club, Rakesh Gupta, Head Printing Cluster met with O.P Soni, Environment Minister, Punjab at their Chandigarh Office regarding issues of ground water.
They further said that Ludhiana Industry is facing problems regarding ground water.
CICU delegation discussed with the minister that Punjab Government has formed an authority for control of ground water. It should be operational soon so that industry can operate without any hassle.
The minister said that Punjab Government will do the needful at the earliest and the issues being faced by Industry will resolved soon.
