Chief General Manager NABARD inaugurates office of Nurpur Bet society

Ludhiana: Dr Rajiv Siwach, Chief General Manager, NABARD, Punjab Regional Office, Chandigarh during his visit to Ludhiana, visited Nurpur Bet Multi Purpose Cooperative Society in village Nurpur Bet, Ludhiana.  He inaugurated new office building of the society on this occasion.  He appreciated the efforts made by the Society to in the field of providing low cost credit to farmers and assured them that NABARD’s continuous support will be provided to them for upliftment of economically weak section in rural areas.  Asstt. Registrar Ludhiana, MD DCCB, DM DCCB and other dignitaries were also present at the occasion.    

Before that CGM NABARD also visited GADVASU Ludhiana.  He had a meeting with VC GADVASU and  addressed the meeting of Senior Officers (Scientists / Professors / Veterinary Doctors) of GADVASU.  He  visited the project “towards climate resilient livestock production system in Punjab” being implemented at GADVASU with funding from NABARD under NAFCC.  He also visited College of fishery and multispecialty veterinary hospital in GADVASU.
