Mohali, July 31, 2026: Strengthening its vision of becoming India's capital of industry-integrated education, CGC University Mohali has inaugurated the IBM Centre for Emerging Technologies. This significant initiative aims to transform higher education through industry-oriented learning, cutting-edge technologies, and experiential education. The centre marks a major step towards equipping students with future-ready skills.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Arsh Dhaliwal, Managing Director, CGC University Mohali; Dr. Sushil Prasher, Executive Vice President; senior leadership members from IBM; distinguished faculty members; and academic leaders of the university. The prestigious centre will primarily benefit students of Engineering and Management by providing specialized training in advanced technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Generative AI, Data Science, and Quantum Computing. Students will also have the opportunity to earn globally recognized certifications accredited by IBM.
